A client from the highly specialised oil and gas industry required a static HTML website to be converted into a powerful, manageable WordPress platform. The most critical requirement was the creation of a secure, members-only area, complete with user login and registration functionality. The entire system needed to be self-contained within the theme for easy, one-step deployment on their private server.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was not simply converting the design, but architecting a fully integrated user authentication system without relying on third-party plugins. The client specified that the theme must be a “turnkey” solution—meaning all functionalities, including registration forms, login portals, password recovery, and content protection, had to be built directly into the theme’s core. This required a deep understanding of WordPress’s user management system and advanced PHP development to create a secure and seamless experience.
